*Welcome to my final update of 2021.

B2B companies now want to build iconic brands.

But brand building remains a poorly understood, data-light, and controversial topic in B2B marketing.

I've been thinking about how to bring more data + examples to the problem.

Today I **published this short deck.**

It's a quick analysis of the LinkedIn activity from 3 interesting segments of stand-out B2B brands.

The B2B Growth Index was my starting point.

This chart shows how rare it is to have a large and/or fast-growing audience in B2B:

After looking broad, I dug into 3 groups:

1.

Most Visible. Top 50 ranked by followers.

2.

Rising Brands. >7% monthly follower growth and 5,000+ followers

3.

Ahead of the Hiring Curve. Top 50 ranked by followers per employee.

The deck has a quick analysis, but I also pulled down a couple thousand posts and there's a TON more data we could dig into.

So I'm curious to hear from you...

*What other data + examples would you like to see on this topic?*

*Maybe a visual gallery of content like we do with pricing pages?*

As usual, I will follow your feedback.

P.S.

I added a couple fields to the B2B Growth Index if you want to dig into these companies (scroll right).

We'll track this as a simple starting point.πŸ‘‡

Happy holidays!

See you in 2022.

Best,

Adam
