Today I added 204 new companies to the B2B and PLG indexes and made my first TikTok video.
Luckily, my kids are too young for social media, so I didn't get any comments like *"Daaaaaad, you are embarrassing meeeeeee!"*
This morning I started poking around for interesting new role models.
I got sucked into a segment that I hadn't tried before: Founded Date >= 2019.
Here is the list sorted by y/y headcount growth:
A few observations:
1.
It blows my mind that a startup can come out of the gate and reach 300+ employees in less than 3 years.
There are many examples of this.
If you have any doubts about the "talent war," these examples bring it to life.
2.
The vast majority of these companies have a product-led growth component, but very few are *only* product-led*.* Most have an enterprise offer, hybrid motion, and significant sales headcount.
3.
There are some cases where multiple companies in a new category show up.
For example, Reprise, Demostack, and Walnut are all visible in the top 15 when you sort & filter this way.
Some categories get very hot with VCs very fast.
You can tell when the race is on.
If you see anyone missing, you can always suggest a company here.
Which high growth B2B companies & categories are you studying these days?
I read all replies.
Best,
Adam
